Mingle Update: New Event & A New Website 🚀
It’s a new month (well new-ish … month) and Mingle is back!
Did you miss us? I hope you did. I sure missed you guys sliding into my DMs and asking me questions like … so what is Mingle… how do I sign up … when is the next event etcetera, etcetera, etcetera
And so I figured it was time to do what I do best and create a website! Finally, there’s a place to: find out what Mingle is about, sign up and refer friends

What is Mingle?
Mingle our way of helping 30+ singles live richer and fuller social lives by creating third spaces for our members. It was born after I wrote a very vulnerable essay about how hard it is to make friends as an adult that went mini-viral on Twitter. I spent about 2 years working with Sheila Ojei to figure out why it’s such a problem and how to make it better. Turns out the answer is third spaces (and the lack thereof).
What’s a third space?
Third spaces are locations where people can exchange ideas, have a good time, and build relationships organically. But in the age of capitalism, those kinds of physical spaces are disappearing. And instead, we’re getting dating apps, clubs, Instagram-able cafes and co-working spaces where no one talks to each other. Mingle is our attempt to bring those types of spaces back.
Who’s Mingle for?
Mingle is for anyone looking for a way to expand (and more importantly) deepen their social circle. It’s for anyone who’s tired of the shallow, superficial connections that plague networking events, dating apps and conferences.
What’s a Mingle Space?
A Mingle Space is a hosted event where instead of just nibbling and pressing phones, we focus on bringing people together to actually connect and we have RULES to ensure that happens.
